This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Raya Events collects, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We are committed to handling your information with care and in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Italian law.

Who we are

Raya Events (the "Owner" and data controller) is a curated events brand based in Milan, Italy. For any question about this policy or your personal data, you can contact us at info@rayaevents.com.

The data we collect

Information you give us. When you apply to our waitlist through this website, we collect the details you submit in the form:

• your full name;
• your Instagram handle (optional);
• your email address;
• any additional information you choose to include in the message field.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records limited technical data needed to serve and secure the pages, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and basic usage data (for example the pages requested and the date and time of access).

How we use your data

• to review and manage your waitlist application and, where relevant, to invite you to events;
• to respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about Raya Events;
• to operate, maintain, secure and improve the website.

We process your application data on the basis of your consent and our steps taken at your request. Technical and security data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a safe, functioning website. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We only share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the site, acting as our data processors under appropriate agreements:

• Netlify — website hosting and processing of form submissions;
• Google Fonts — delivery of the typefaces used on the site (this may involve your browser requesting fonts from Google's servers, which receive your IP address).

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist application for as long as needed to consider it and to manage your relationship with Raya Events, and we delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required. You can ask us to remove your data at any time.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies, and it does not run analytics that identify you. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be set by our hosting provider to deliver the site securely; these do not require consent. Loading Google Fonts does not set cookies on your device, though your IP address is shared with Google to serve the fonts. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@rayaevents.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or in Italy with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
